Thanks for Supporting the Cycle Track with WABA
Last Friday, we rolled out to the cycle track with our Bike Ambassador and a few volunteers to show our appreciation both for the cycle track itself and to the cyclists who ride it every day. It was a bright and chilly afternoon, but we still managed to find 188 bicyclists riding the cycle track in the two hours we were out there. All in all, we had a great time, handed out tons of stickers and made some cyclists and pedestrians happy.
If you ride the cycle track, and especially if you live along 15th street and support bicycle infrastructure, please contact your DC City Councilmember and let them know how much you enjoy it! You can also help us out by using the Mayor’s call center to report any vehicles parked in the cycle track. It’s easy, just dial 311 from your phone and choose to speak to a representative.
