Attend an Update on the Purple Line in Chevy Chase Tonight

Those interested in learning about the current status of the Purple Line project in and around Chevy Chase should plan to attend a neighborhood work group meeting hosted by the Maryland Transit Administration this evening. Read the below press release for more information.
Dear Community Member: You are cordially invited to the Purple Line Neighborhood Work Group meeting for the proposed Connecticut Avenue station at Chevy Chase Lake. The meeting will be held: Thursday, April 11, 2013 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Town of Chevy Chase, City Hall 4301 Willow Lane Chevy Chase MD 20815 At this meeting, the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Purple Line team will present current plans for this station and the Capital Crescent Trail in this area, as well as answer questions and solicit general feedback. Our hope is to have an informal setting that will allow for an open dialogue about these stations and the surrounding area.
