Let’s Make Bicycling Better For Everyone

Panel 1: A woman with a long braid biking up a hill. On the side of the road, a dumpster is engulfed in flames. The caption reads ‘2020.’

Panel 2: The same woman looking at the news on a smartphone. Headlines read, 'Quarantine Reaches Day 100;' 'Wildfires Engulf West Coast;' and 'Thousands Take to the Streets to Protest Racial Injustice.' The caption reads 'It's been a heck of a year.'
Panel 3: A caption reads 'But bicycling has made it better.' The images shows a map of the Washington, D.C. region showing DC, Virginia, and Maryland. Inset boxes from each region show different people biking. In Virginia, a woman hauling groceries on a cargo trike passes a sign that says 'Reduced Metro Service.' In Maryland, a man in hospital scrubs with an RN badge unlocks his bike outside a sign reading 'Emergency Room.' In DC, a parent rides behind a child on a trail, both wearing masks.
Caption: 'It connects us' The woman who we previously saw hauling groceries poses for a photo outside the US Capitol Building.

Caption: 'to adventures in nature' The nurse does a wheelie on a trail.

Caption: 'to new places' The parent rides their bike past a river, with the Washington Monument, US Capitol, and Jefferson memorial in the distance.

Caption: 'to our neighbors and friends.'
Panel 4: The woman we saw biking past the trash fire is now riding downhill on a group ride: the nurse, the parent, and grocery shopper are all riding in front of her. Beyond them in one direction is a forest; in the other, the Washington, DC city skyline.

Caption: Biking is for everyone! When you give to WABA, you’re making your ride, and her ride, their ride, and his ride BETTER.
